Have you been looking for a chiropractor in Mount Dora? At Wise Chiropractic, patient satisfaction is our first priority and getting you out of pain is the first step. At our state-of-the-art facility we offer the latest modalities including digital x-rays, spinal decompression, class IV laser therapy, therapeutic exercises emphasizes the importance of improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Given the option, most people would prefer to be healthy and avoid illness if possible, and chiropractic care can help those people achieve their health and wellness goals. For those patients who may already be in pain, chiropractic care offers a unique way to provide pain relief for many types of pain and conditions, including back pain, neck pain and more! Pain relief and pain prevention are two of the reasons that chiropractic services have become so popular, both here in Mount Dora and around the world.

At Wise Chiropractic we are experts at helping you get the results you need through caring, educational and motivational approach. Dr. Wise and Dr. Bodine have seen thousands of patients with various conditions. There is not much they haven’t seen and more importantly not much they haven’t been able to help. At Wise Chiropractic we take a specific, scientific approach to overall health and well-being through emphasizing optimal posture and spinal alignment as the primary goals of chiropractic care, while documenting improvements in pain and functional based outcomes using the Chiropractic Biophysics Technique. Both doctors are also well versed in Thompson, Activator, Full-spine/Diversified and Pettibon Techniques.

Phases

1. PAIN RELIEF
The first phase of care is known as the acute or “pain relief” phase. This phase of care is the most comprehensive, exorbitant, and time-consuming. At this point in care, the doctor will decide which modalities would be most effective (spinal decompression, electric muscle stimulation, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound or Class IV deep tissue laser therapy. Some patients do not present with pain and are moved directly into our stabilization or maintenance phases of care.

2. STABILIZATION
The second phase of care is the stabilization phase. Once pain symptoms have diminished or resolved entirely, it is necessary to stabilize to ensure our pain relief goals have been met. It is important to continue care for a short time after symptoms stabilize because the nervous system must be properly re-trained. It is important to understand that the human body was divinely created and constantly strives for balance and homeostasis. The human body is an amazing self-healing, and self-regulating organism.

3. MAINTENANCE
The final phase of care is the maintenance phase. At this point, our patients have been properly educated and understand their at-home exercises to maintain a healthy spine throughout their lifetime. Because we are all different, this phase is not determined by the doctor. The patient will determine the frequency of care that best fits their needs. Just like brushing our teeth, taking care of our spines requires constant maintenance. However, unlike our teeth, our spines cannot be replaced.

His neighbor, who was a Chiropractor, saw him with a brace on and started adjusting him. As the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome improved, he started educating him on the power of the body and nervous system which gave him the motivation to become a chiropractor and help others.
